This is a 12 frame Melange about the Iraq War as told to us by the world's media during the actual conflict in 2004. It tells both sides of the story chronologically.

It is a re working of an earlier piece called Idol War which was a story portrait (see Private Portraits).

It is obvious that this war provokes strong feelings and extreme behavour from everyone involved. It has certainly thrown up some facinating imagery detailing human conflict and behavior.

Combine this with the multi image layering that Melange pictures create and one can see new distilations of the emotions and actions of those involved in the different viewpoints revealed as you walk past the piece.

The 8 pictures on the left are documentation photographs of the finished lenticular from different viewing positions.

The 12 pictures on the right are the origianl pictures after cropping and computer manipulation.
