This is a portrait of Richard Curtis made for him by his wife Emma Freud for his 50th birthday and shows him from birth to 2006.

Richard is one of the UK's leading film makers and is best known for Black Adder, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, and Love Actually.

The picture above is an approximation of what the piece looks like. As you walk past, the picture changes from one image to the next. Uniquely with these square portraits each sq changes independently using Matthew Andrews' design copyrighted interlacing technique.
